Zippy Strippy bags are very easy to sew! The pattern gives measurements for three different sizes but I found most like the largest size.  They take about two hours to make and are great gifts for everyone.  Adding buttons or rickrack to the outside adds a unique look to each bag.  These pouches are great for travel or holding cosmetics.  

 

Chubby Charmer Tote

This is one of my best bags I have made.   The Chubby Charmer Tote is very durable and HUGE!  The pattern suggests you use cardboard for bottom but I decided to use a foam board for mine because I found it to last longer.  Helpful hint: If you decide to make this tote, make sure your two outside pieces are identical.  If they aren't, when you sew them together your sides will have the same colors touching.  When I first made mine, I realized this and had to redo a row because I wanted it to be checkered all the way around.
